Jan Munroe’s first show with Open Fist was 2010’s GOOD WOMAN OF SETZUAN directed by Charlie Otte. Several years later he played a vampire in MAD FOREST, the last piece done at the Santa Monica Boulevard space. Since then, he’s directed several productions for the company (John O’Keefe’s DON’T YOU EVER CALL ME ANYTHING BUT MOTHER and ALL NIGHT LONG), acted in the ROHRSHACH FEST’s production of O’Keefe’s GHOSTS and designed/constructed several sets for shows (including DANCING AT LUGHNASA, LAST CALL, and MUSICAL FOOLS). As an actor, he has managed to make a living over the last 45 years and that’s as good as it gets.
