Originally from the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, Angel found his passion for
theatre in middle school while competing within the TFA (Texas Forensic Association) and
placed 31st in the nation in dramatic interpretation. His passion grew into profession while at the
University of Houston where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and was blessed to work in
stock and regional theatres throughout the continental US upon graduation. Some of his favorite
credits include… Mark Antony in Julius Caesar at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Romeo in
R&J touring to different schools in Houston as part of a Shakespeare Outreach Program in
Houston, Texas, and Chief Quanah Parker in the musical drama TEXAS! The Musical as part of
the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation.

He moved to LA to pursue a career in film/television, though he still has his roots
enmeshed in theatre, also working with the South Pasadena Theatre Workshop. His “day job”
(through he considers it more of a passion in tandem) is as a real estate agent (Cal DRE#
