Last Call

by Anne Kenney

Last Call  was first presented by The Open Fist Theatre Company as a staged reading during last year’s First Look Festival. Now, we are delighted to bring you the world premiere production World premiere of Last Call — Extended through March 2 at the Atwater Village Theatre (3269 Casitas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90039)

About the Play: The Vaughn family’s go-to defense mechanism of sarcasm and mordant humor falls short when the aging parents hatch a not-so-funny way to avoid the retirement home.

“WOW!… as perceptive and powerful as family dramas get… flawed, multifaceted, entirely human characters and dialogue… richly rewarding and thought-provoking” — Steven Stanley, Stage Scene LA
“THOUGHT-PROVOKING… a very well written play with a fine cast.” — Carol Kaufman Segal, Carol’s Culture Corner
“SPOT-ON gallows humor… comical repartee… excellent work from the able cast” — Ingrid Wilmot, Will Call for Theater
“PITCH PERFECT… a brilliant piece of theatre; honest, warm, and darkly comic with a wry edge” — Kathy Flynn, Discover Hollywood
“GRIPPING… AUTHENTIC… intriguing surprises… a solid production about a complex topic” — Matthew Robinson, LA Theatre Bites
