Jennifer Schoch first performed with The Open Fist in 2012 in the Ron West directed Early and Often. She has since been with the company quite often, as an actor, writer and producer. Notable experiences with the Open Fist include co-producing the show Mad Forest and performing in the role of Lucia, writing and producing the Open Fist produced Hollywood Fringe show First Dates, playing the role of Tara in Reasons to Live at the Skylight Theatre and most recently, writing and performing her piece Growing Up Female for the political pop-up show entitled Before the Sensors Stop Us. She is grateful to have danced, sung, fought and cursed in Romanian with some of the most passionate and talented actors in Los Angeles. Outside of the company Jennifer has worked in television, film and in commercials. She holds a BFA in theatre, is represented by Avant Artists and is also a member of Theatricum Botanicum, the writers group Safehouse and is a Young Story Teller’s mentor and children’s theatre teacher. She is currently becoming certified as a yoga instructor with Yogaworks.
